Swimming and sports pool with wide slide and a children’s pool

This outdoor adventure pool (Erlebnisfreibad in German) in the district of Mitterdorf (municipality of St. Barbara im Mürztal) is the perfect place for summertime fun in the sun.

This outdoor adventure pool was designed according to state-of-the-art standards and opened on 1 June 2007. It is particularly geared towards families and children. For one year, a completely new adventure project was created in the area of the old outdoor swimming pool. Situated in a sunny spot, the 395-m² swimming and sports pool with a 14-metre-long, extra-wide slide (particularly popular with kids!) is located on about one hectare of land.

There is also a separate children’s pool measuring 51 m² with a separate slide. The water is maintained using state-of-the-art, energy-efficient methods involving solar power (with an average water temperature of 24 degrees Celsius).
From a terrace, guests have a wonderful view of the surroundings. In addition to facilities for table tennis, beach volleyball and bocce, there is also a sandy playground, two swings and a see-saw near the children’s pool.

Hours: Mid-May to mid-September, every day from 10 AM to 8 PM (weather permitting)

Admission fees – day tickets:

• Adults €4.50
• Children under the age of 6: free – children between the ages of 6 and 15 pay €2.50
• Students €2.50

Half-day and season tickets are also available.
