Cycling on stunning trails

The R5 Mürz Valley Cycle Path, R46 Semmering Cycle Path and R48 Veitsch Valley Cycle Path intersect within our region. This cycle path stands out for the numerous sights and stops along the pleasant route between bodies of water, meadows, forests and towns. Highlights of the route: The museums in Mürzzuschlag, Brahms Museum, Kunsthaus Muerz, SÜDBAHN Museum and WinterSportMuseum are all ideal for a cycling break. A refreshing break in the Langenwanger Au area and a cool splash in the Mürz will motivate you to continue. After that, a visit to the Rosegger Museum and Rosegger Park in Krieglach will immerse you in the world of the great writer Peter Rosegger. The Lichtenegg ruins in St. Barbara im Mürztal / Wartberg or the world’s highest pilgrim cross in St. Barbara im Mürztal / Veitsch are both worth a visit too. Off to the mountains for mountain biking – the coolest mountain bike tours

Plenty of routes in the countryside offer mountain biking fun for amateurs and pros alike. Enjoy the fresh air, pure nature and fantastic views. Beginners as well as experts will be surprised by the variety of tours in the region – from Stuhleck over the Pretul mountains, tours on the Scheibe, Malleistenalm, Stanglalpe to Scheibsgraben and Pretalsattel take you through the whole area.

E-biking – pedalling is child’s play

Experience the most pleasant way to explore the ‘e-bike region of the Mürz Valley’. You are in the best of hands with the e-bike and all its capabilities. For all those who do not yet own an e-bike, you may also rent one and attend a basic info course.

Tip: There is a wide range of high-quality e-bikes, both for easy city rides and for more challenging mountain bike tours. You can take the e-bikes for a test ride right in front of the shop. For a longer test drive, several models are available to be rented on request. Tip: Guided tours – a unique e-bike experience. E-filling stations

The range of bikes on offer is complemented by a continuous network of 16 bike energy e-bike charging stations at hotspots in the region, where you can take a leisurely break and recharge your bike’s batteries.
