Get excited for your overnight stay in the four-star Hotel Krainer in Langenwang, which has a very special range of delicacies in store for you. At this family-run establishment, first spend some time in the ‘entSPAnnt’ sauna area to work up an appetite for your six-course surprise menu, freshly prepared by the chefs in our ‘three Gault Millau toque’-winning restaurant. You also have the option of booking an accompanying wine course. There will also be a glass of Austrian Winzersekt to taste as an aperitif. You’ll spend the night in a comfortable ‘Waldheimat’ room and, in the morning, fortify yourself for the day ahead at the elegant breakfast buffet in the orangery or winter garden. Energised from eating our regional specialities and home-made jams and breads, you can set off to explore the region with all your senses.

• Pick-up service from Langenwang station or Mürzzuschlag if you arrive by train

Tip: With the Rosegger combination ticket you can visit the birthplace, the Kluppeneggerhof and the Waldschule am Alpl, as well as the Rosegger Museum in Krieglach and the Rosegger exhibition in St. Kathrein am Hauenstein.

On Sunday evenings and Mondays the restaurant is closed, therefore the package cannot be booked on these days.

• At our in-house café, we embody the Austrian coffee house tradition with a dignified ambience. We’ll treat you to home-made cakes and pastries from our own pastry shop and home-made ice cream specialities in summer.
• We serve modern and classic tavern fare in the winter garden/orangery. No reservation necessary – closed on Mondays.
• This gourmet restaurant offers regional, creative cuisine and has been awarded three Gault Millau toques. We request that you make a reservation – and we’re closed on Saturdays and Mondays.
• Seminar and event rooms are available for celebrations or conferences.
• The wine cellar, known as the vinothek, offers the best wines from Austria and a small international selection.
