Spring and summer is the perfect time to visit the Krieglach Recreational Lake. There are numerous leisure activities around the lake that offer something for every preference. Our best culinary suggestion for finding something good to eat – no matter how hungry you are! – is the Café-Restaurant Schott d’Azur, with its wide variety of different dishes and snacks. And for the finishing touch to a perfect day of swimming, treat yourself to a glass from the generous selection of drinks on the terrace with a wonderful view of the lake.

But that’s not all, as the lake is the ideal starting point or destination for cycling and hiking tours. If you are travelling with your family, the little ones will find a large playground with sandpits, climbing tower, slides and swings here. In addition to the ‘regular’ bathing and swimming in the lake, there is also a special area for small children. We also recommend stopping by the pedal boat rental for another way to relax during a trip. If you want to keep fit, you will find fitness equipment on the site, which is available for use and free of cost.

Even in winter, the snowy landscape surrounding the lake is mesmerising. In addition to the delicacies in the restaurant, you have the opportunity to take your mind off everyday life while ice-skating, playing Bavarian-style curling or simply taking a walk around the lake. Reservations are required for the sauna area.
