Veitsch Adventure Swimming Pool
The first indoor swimming pool in Styria
The indoor swimming pool in the JUFA Hotel Veitsch offers a wide range of leisure activities, even out of the water, such as its wellness and relaxation area.
The swimming pool in Veitsch was built between the years 1950 and 1952 and was the first indoor pool in Styria. The sauna was added in 1979. In 1998, the pool was completely renovated and a water slide with a length of 51 metres, usable all year round, was installed in the indoor pool. The sports facilities were expanded in 2003 with the addition of an indoor climbing gym. A further conversion and expansion took place in 2008 with the construction of the JUFA Hotel Veitsch. It’s common knowledge in the German-speaking world that JUFA hotels, resorts and guesthouses stand for family-friendly facilities that make every holiday a truly unique experience.
In addition to the indoor swimming pool, the building complex also features a spacious sauna area. It offers a wide range of facilities, including bio-, infrared and Finnish sauna as well as a steam bath and solarium. The café with a sun terrace, which is also a popular meeting place in the evenings, is the perfect spot for a relaxing break from everyday life. The delicious snacks available will make you want to linger for even longer. In summer, there is also a pool for toddlers and ‘babbling brook’ for them to splash around in. For adults who may be more active, there is a court for inline skaters and a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, general sports field and a BMX track.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8:45 PM; Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, 10 AM to 8:45 PM
