Gourmet weekend in the Waldheimat

Experience the Waldheimat with all your senses during a gourmet weekend at the ****Hotel-Restaurant Krainer. Experience the outstanding cuisine prepared by Astrid and Andreas Krainer, who have been awarded three Gault Millau toques for their work. On the first evening, you can expect a classic, hearty tavern meal in the winter garden. The next day, you’ll be treated to a six-course ‘Wald & Heimat’ set menu in the gourmet restaurant. For the night in between, you’re sure to have sweet dreams thanks to your extremely comfortable bed in one of the new ‘Waldheimat’ rooms. In the meantime, you can get to know the region of Semmering-Waldheimat-Veitsch in general and the idea of ‘Waldheimat’ in particular. Either on foot, using the many hiking and walking paths to our alpine pastures and alluvial areas, or on the two wheels of a cycle (with or without electric assistance). In the ‘entSPAnnt’ sauna area with its Finnish sauna and colour light therapy, steam bath with aromatherapy and relaxation room with heated water beds, you’re sure to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Pure enjoyment!
