The region of Semmering-Waldheimat-Veitsch features a large number of atmospheric and elegant events. Festivals, exhibitions, concerts, cabarets, traditional open-air markets as well as ‘Kirtage’ (church-based festival days) in the communities of St. Barbara im Mürztal, Krieglach, Langenwang, Mürzzuschlag and Spital am Semmering all provide a special charm for your holiday in Styria.

From Rosegger Week and the Brahms Festival to the Veitsch Border Relay Race – here’s a calendar of the events you simply can’t miss. These highlights, such as the Nostalgia Festival or the Grand Prix Nostalski, are well-known and popular not only in Austria but also far beyond its borders.
